Reliance Industries Ltd drops for fifth straight session

Reliance Industries Ltd is down for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 2346.25, down 0.37% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.15% on the day, quoting at 19704.65. The Sensex is at 66152.05, up 0.22%.Reliance Industries Ltd has eased around 3.99% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Auto index of which Reliance Industries Ltd is a constituent, has increased around 4.32% in last one month and is currently quoting at 27102.4, up 0.14% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 47.48 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 83.52 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark September futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 2352, down 0.39% on the day. Reliance Industries Ltd jumped 8.71% in last one year as compared to a 15.8% rally in NIFTY and a 5.67% spurt in the Nifty Auto index.

The PE of the stock is 41.06 based on TTM earnings ending June 23.
