Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 3.39%), Sobha Ltd (up 3.36%), Brigade Enterprises Ltd (up 2.63%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 1.72%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 1.01%), and Macrotech Developers Ltd (up 0.48%), were the top losers.

On the other hand, Godrej Properties Ltd (up 1%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 0.72%), and Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.68%) moved up.

At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 257.37 or 0.37% at 69553.51.

The Nifty 50 index was up 45.6 points or 0.22% at 20900.7.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 9.75 points or 0.02% at 41108.96.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 3.01 points or 0.02% at 12180.32.

On BSE,1813 shares were trading in green, 1879 were trading in red and 159 were unchanged.
